Yesterday I took my girl back-to-school shopping in La Crosse on one of my bi-annual trips to this town of 50,000 an hour away from Viroqua.
I am not your normal thirty-something woman. I don’t feel the need to do my hair, wear make-up, stress over appearance, or go to town very much. I am deeply and utterly content with my natural looks and my own company at all times.
Very Thoreauvean that way.
Always been.
In addition to some new school clothes, we picked up two Halloween costumes for this fall and for our costume pile in general.
Guess what Cyrus is going to be:
I think this reflects perfectly the inner world of a three-year-old male. Don’t you think?
