Every year, our town puts on the annual “Wild West Days” festival, which, among other activities, includes a parade and a rodeo. Organized by a group of private horse and period-costume enthusiasts, the event draws quite an audience. My horse-crazy daugther in particular looks forward to “the horsie parade” the entire year.
In addition to taking the kids to the parade as usual, this year Jacob also took them to the rodeo for the first time. It must have made quite an impression, because:
