My three-year-old son, Cyrus, loves to wear pigtails.
Note that, at that age, his sister wouldn’t keep absolutely anything in her hair, except maybe some burdock she picked up while going through brambles on the farm.
But Cyrus has this hair-twisting habit, and the pigtails facilitate this operation nicely.
They also bear a not-so-vague resemblance to tiny horns.
Which fits right in with his personality.
And so, throughout the day, you might find him going about his regular Cyrus business with this hairdo.
This is one example of the “regular Cyrus business.” Now there’s a child completely innocent of gender stereotypes.
Which makes it all the more hilarious.

He is just too cute!!!
He is so lovely, those piggytails look perfect for twirling. My toddler is almost three and loves to play at being mummy to his dolly. Nappy changing, putting to bed… and breastfeeding. It is so funny, but really cute.

That is cute! Mine doesn’t really have that maternal/caring side to him (unlike my older daugther), but he does love cooking and cleaning (dishes and sweeping). His main passion is machines though. Machines of all kind.
Love it! I would have a hard time keeping myself from twirling his little piggy tails.
